No, I was just soaking the stone in water. I did notice as the water displaced the two stones "stuck" together. Makes sense that running water would help.

I just received my naniwa 12k and dmt 325 and am having trouble lapping the stone.

I am trying to do figure 8s but the dmt is so heavy and sticks to the 12k that both of them just slide accross...
