Hot water soak, scrubbing bubbles, scrub brush with MASS, polisher with rouge, final scrub with dish soap and repaint numbers & stripe. Came out nice!

I'm pretty sure it's built up soap scum. The dark colors are on the low spots on the knurling and the nickel plating looks OK on the high spots. But you never really know with ebay. If it doesn't...

Poor little fellow needs a bath, but I'm sure it'll clean up. I'll post another pic after it gets the spa treatment.
