So with this in mind would it be a bad idea to put the paste on the linen side?
(To sharpen) then use the leather to polish as you say?

I got linked here from another poster as I have the Ti paste, and a linen/leather hanging strop. I was told by the salesman that the paste was to condition the leather side, but judging by posters...
