Or spit it up with a two layer base. A thin layer of brass between the carbon and ivory.

If I got to choose the base it would likely be faux ivory.

We learn with what hit the bin too. Even project that don’t work are a success. Good to hear you have some working out. I’m anticipating the finish.

Well, it depends on if you want to make it contrasting or not. If you want contrast, then go with a light wood. You can also go with faux ivory for a sharp contrast.

It is looking quite promising.

= the outside diameter of the brush.

That is slim for a brush. However, if you are not certain of your process it might be cheaper to experiment with what you have on hand.

That’s pretty cool. You could totally do a brush that way. Standing by for more.

I would love a carbon fibre brush handle, but I’d never make one because of the dust. I’d love to see some!
