Noooooo, it is likely original. And having the patina times two, blade and scales, is a masterful find. It is really hard to get that kind of variegation without it being natural.

I have gotten the faked patina fairly well in hand, but I just cannot make horn scales look old, and honestly with the whole package looking old it looks like mismatched shoes. I know some are into...
