I had the best shave yesterday! I tried mixing things up and had some great results, here is what I tried.

1. Hot shower prep, cold water shave, cold water in the scuttle too. I'm totally hooked...

I know what you mean as soon as I shave I want to shave again.

I don't really have a preference, they are both so similar, I really want to try a half hollow razor or something with a French...

I like the white scales, there is a scuttle in the classifieds at the moment.

No problems I'll try to get something up soon, I'll be getting married at the end of the year and I'm on the lookout for a showpiece razor that would look fantastic in the photos.

I bought a white Dovo best quality and a Boker tree brand. Love them both. Can't wait to pick up more razors though.

Really interested to hear about your experiences, I'm kinda in the same boat. I found better strokes and was more effective as my coincidence and experience grew.
