Yes the blade was warped if I put the tang straight down on the table it was about a 1 and a half inch rise on it. The other side of the tang was flat with the table. Next time...

I have since found out that it is NOT able to be re-cast. You would have ot know EXACTALLY what the metal was in order to heat treat it properly etc, etc, etc...
