Got this out today and it had a TINY spot of what looked like rust on the edge. :dropjaw:

Tried to strop it out but NO LUCK with that.

Took it back to the hones and ended up going all the way...

I Guess It Helped I Put A Edge On It Before I Did Any Work To It!

I did what you suggested and took her for a stropping.
Showered and then made some later with AOS Sandlewood and some Gylserin.

So the hone wear on the razor itself is worn quite a bit and your saying I need 3 layers to make up for this right?:hmmm:

Well I made SURE it would BEFORE the polishing up... I am actually TRYING to put one back on right this minute.
I have a HARD time with the WEDGE type...

WELL....I TRIED to do the BEST I could...

I didn't know how to clean the scales any better. There were a couple "holes" and de-lamination on them so I CA glued them and sanded and sanded.... LOL...

Sad thing is I won a Wade and Butcher also.... WHOOPS!
Figured It would NEVER sell for that little...:shrug:
