I aimed for a sandblasted look on the scales, that's why they don't look polished ;) The third photograph shows some spots that did not work out well, but in real life, they don't bother me.

I finished this razor a few weeks ago, but didn't get round to making some pictures. I bought it in pretty good shape, only one scale was cracked at the pivot pin:
