That's what I ended up doing and used a different brush for my shave. I did however wet the brush a bit 6-7 hours later...just a little rinse and squeeze of the tips.

Well...here it is! had to use five pennies...squirted some of the epoxy into the handle, mixed it up, popped the pennies in and pushed them down, put a bit more epoxy on the pennies, mixed it up more...

My knot just came in the mail, very excited to make my first brush. I decided to go with one of Whipped Dog's resin handles to take some of the guess work out of the first brush I make. They're nice...
