I'd get a TOBS cream over their soaps, never...
I'd get a TOBS cream over their soaps, never tried mama bear but it's supposed to be pretty good, and glycerin based like conk IIRC. Never heard of stirling but MWF is always a good buy....

To my knowledge, there aren't specific soaps that are best suited for scuttles, as a scuttle's only function is to keep your lather warm. It's essentially a lather bowl inside a bowl of hot water....

That's a good one! :rofl2: I don't use a scuttle though ;) I warm my shaving bowl up with hot water and it stays warm just fine :tu

Your soap would go in a separate container/dish....
Your soap would go in a separate container/dish. I use little pyrex dishes that I will either press, or grate the soap into.
The bowl portion of the scuttle would be where you make your lather....
