Handjam, I know nothing about xy razors, and therefore will not criticise them. However, for a newbie getting into shaving, as Michael is, it is a really bad idea to go for a 10 dollar new blade...

Looks like you are sorted with a razor. I've got a shaving brush, creams and balms I will send out, and I've got an unused replaceable bed for a Supex paddle strop too. You will have to sort that...
