Troll update -after sanding down the epoxy in the lower section to get a reasonably flat base i tried the brush, it works as well as it did previously (no surprises there i suppose) i think the loft...

Your alright, I've a thicker skin than that.

Hair dye tends to make hair brittle as well though, so i would be a bit wary of it, and once its done i am screwed if it doesnt work properly, i was thinking that mixed berry juice might work too.

I used about 1/3 - 1/2 of the syringe in the head and it seems to have set well, i will know for sure tonight, i squirted the rest into the body, that was still a bit tacky, i think it didnt set...
