I have that same pistol. You’ll love it once it’s broken in. Rack the slide a lot and then shoot it a bunch with ball ammo. They’re tight as heck when new.

Given those choices, I'd go with the Taurus, but if I were driving for a living I'd also keep a higher capacity "truck gun" in the truck, like a Glock 19 or something similar like a S&W M&P 9 compact...
