    thanks for the idea, would more pressure remove the scratches faster or make them deeper?

    honing pressure

    As i am learning to hone i've noticed that one side of the bevel gets "done" faster than the other (that is, gets rid of the scratches faster). as far as i can tell my grip is the same both...
