thanks! i haven't shaved with it yet but that's good to know. got a good deal on it from the bay. the original scales were shrunk so bad the toe was half way into the wedge.

As bacon is good with anything i thought why not bacon scales? Since the real thing is fragile i substituted specially cut aromatic cedar with a CA finish. topped it off with fried egg pins....
