i believe they are bone as there are pores...
i believe they are bone as there are pores showing on the other side. they are very thin though.

thought of that too. wasn't sure if i should do...
thought of that too. wasn't sure if i should do something to stabilize it further. will have to at least unpin the pivot end to get at the rust and give it a good cleaning.

Had a good weekend with friends and a even better one going to flea markets and antique stores. found this Packwood and a neat looking Trafford Brand Diamond Edge.(can't pass on a blade with etching...
