did some burnishing with my slurry stone and got...
did some burnishing with my slurry stone and got a nice smooth surface though not a literal mirror but can still see some texture (is that the best i can hope for?) any way gave the razor about 80...

Here's a image of it. Yes, i finish with a SS 8k....
Here's a image of it. Yes, i finish with a SS 8k. with this last try of the hone i used water and glycerin. 20 laps no difference another 20 and it felt like sand paper.

help with welsh slate hone
Just purchased a Welsh slate the was sold as a "Welsh Thuri". i am new to naturals so i checked around with different people to see if such a stone would be easy to use. well, NOT for me apparently....
