I find the crox and diamond gives a really nice even touch to the blade - could you then go back after that and use a finishing stone?

Thanks - the scales on my two are actually in great shape now. After a week long soak, I used a Q-Tip to then apply a couple of additional coatings of the neatsfoot oil as some areas of the scales...
