Jimmy - for the way I think you define it - like having steel wool as a brush, really harsh tips, hard face scrubbing action, especially the harsh tips, then no.

That's a nice brush - I'm going to be hunting for one of those soon, turns out while I thought I liked "scritchy", I actually prefer solid backbone with silky smooth tips.
