Cool and thanks - are they in fact quite "swooped" (can't think of another adjective!!), never seen scales with that distinctive shape on any Sheffield blade - the GB, the Mystery deepens....:dropjaw:

Those scales are very distinctive, they have a swoop to them, awesome, am assuming original...wow.

Might have to use your example and get a new set of horn scales done exactly in that...

Yup - found one in Texas if you can believe it, came with a leather pouch, and a huge circular coffin box for the entire rig...pics:
