You think the patina on this one has been added? Haven't hit it with toothpaste and toothbrush yet, date on the coffin box was interesting, as well as the owners name and address on the other side...

Beautiful Joseph Elliot, "Diamond Edge" arrived, in stellar condition, patina is spectacular on this one.

Going to get a cleaning with toothbrush and that's it, then onto the hones...

Hasn't arrived yet, but it was the unique shape of the blade that drew me to the blade...will let you know when I have a shave with it, it's towards a wedge grind.

Couldn't resist this beauty, have a razor sock already labeled and a place waiting for it in the shave chest.

Thanks VM - this is one of those blades I'm not going to do much with, it purports to come shave ready, so that most I might do is get it honed and cleaned up, but for awhile at least, no mirror...
