I can gladly report that first shave attempt went very well! These DE razors seem to be a more forgiving than straight edges! And my better half is pleasantly enjoying my face!!!

Just picked one up on Amazon. I wanted a decent DE to go with my shavette. Just to last me until I get a solid SR. I have one in mind but it needs a little work.
