I didn't take it as a criticism at all mate. I did know about the offset edge and I did have the edge .5mm offset toward the face. I'm not sure what the offset is on a traditional kamisori...

Hi ne0nblakk, this was the second attempt to get it on. I've no idea how it was done in ye olden times but i melted pewter in the brass tube then sat it on the back of the razor, and heat along it...

Just finished this one off today, I did test shave with it last night and I’m very happy with the results.

It’s an 8/8” brass framback Kamisori made from 4mm thick 1095 high...
