I don't mind that it will take more time, as long as it works. I am just starting to get in to honing and trying to do so on a budget. If that includes more work but still a good result that's fine....

I just ordered a 1/6k King and a Naniwa SS 10k, I hope that will work for taking a dull blade to shave ready. What do you think? (Those are my only stones, plus the Zulu of course).

I think that Lynn's and Glen's one stone honing is interesting but after what have been said here it sounds like that is not possible with the Zulu.
