A little diffuse day light goes a long way with razors, just being beside a window helps a lot and if you add a white reflector, even better. You could really get in to it with a light box too.

That makes a big difference, and some better pics help too :)
I'd be tempted to take a little more off the heel and toe of the edge, say 64th to 32nd just to suggest a smile and ease the shave.

Rough is almost an understatement, it could pass for a hacksaw :) Nice leather pouch.
