I have been watching your post here & just want to say that you are doing a great job on these. You have put a lot of time & effort into this but when it is all done, it will be a job well...

I learned to glue one side to keep the wedge from moving, especially with one pin. If two pins are used you can do it but it isn't as important.

That's exactly how i do it! I buy the tape off eBay. It is sometimes also called carpet tape but some carpet tape is not paper. You have to make sure it is the paper tape!

A lapping plate keeps your hones perfectly flat. You can use a large flat piece of tile (12"x12") with some 320 grit wet or dry sandpaper on it.
