    John might be the son of Joseph & could have made the razor in later years if it indeed was made by him.

    I found William Rose in my Sheffield Directory...

    I found William Rose in my Sheffield Directory from Tweedale for 1851 but it has very little information on him & does not mention if he had a son. Wolfpack is probably correct with his suggestion.
