not a bad idea. I have a decent supplier a couple miles from me. I have some ebony and some more Ipe too. but I feel something with grain would be to much on this one.

Well what can I say the micarta turned out and I'm moving forward with it. Bade polished up OK. Some pitting dangerously close to the edge but.... It should be able to make it.

Tomorrow should tell me what my scale material will be.

The handle clearly is shot out and the blade ,though rusted, looks to have some life left.
