With my schedule I won't have time to mess with it until wednesday. After I mess with it i will report back.

Well I tried to take some.pictures through my loop but I didn't get very good pictures. I did look closely at the edge and from everything I saw the bevels meet.

I will go back and look. I am pretty sure the bevels meet when looking on both sides.

I will get some better pictures of the edge. I lap my stones wit the course DMT diamond. I do chamfer the edges/corners as well. I strop with a SRD 3 inch but don't remember which type of leather...

If there are better angles for pictures I will take them tonight after work and post them. I will try a few more passes on the 12k strop and try another shave in the morning.

Here is the razor I was working on. With the 30x jewelers loop I couldn't see any damage. I know there is a little hone wear but I don't know if it is excessive. It is a 5/8 razor.

If I over-honed can I drop to the 8k for a few strokes then back to 12k, or am I better off dropping to 4k and working back up?

I will look at the edge when I get home as well. I was in a hurry leaving the house this morning and didn't have time to check it out. The razor has not been restored and there is no pitting near...
