24 hours after honing there is a very slight dish, which would be expected as the hone wears. This stiffening removed 90% of the instability of the stone.

Just an update. As the stone was drying I saw a very slight amount of dishing and then it went back to flat.

I just finished using my 8k on a razor. It worked extremely well, much better than I expected. I used Bondo body filler as a glue so that the stone could sit on a bed of filler. I'll get a picture up...
