Yep your right cudarunner , just lost concentration for a minute, but it can be fixed and ive learnt a lesson from it. Had a hangover at the time ill blame that:D.

Good stuff Andrew, I like the old razors as well, mine are FW Engels perfect temper 11/16 on the left , Henckels friordur 451 also 11/16 and Dorko 6/8 all are full hollow grinds and great shavers.

Yep under the running tap, think I will try the sponge option from now on. I usually wipe the blade on a dry towel to keep water out of the hinge pin as well.
