Today's hone.

Set the bevel on the 1k king. Did 5 stropping strokes per side after my half strokes set the edge.

I then ran the razor over my thumb nail.

Proceeded to do 5 stropping...

Blew the dust off 2 of my 3 remaining hones. 10" Pike Washita in original box and a nice Norton 8" hard Arkansas.

Tried a gold dollar that needed a slight ding taken out. Need to grind the rust...

Unknown vintage razor. Pretty beat. Took a coticule slurry stone to knock off the rust spots. Then metal polish. It's where I like it now. Worn but usable.
