I bought the poor man's strop from whipped dog for $19. I've nicked it twice and it's still gives my blade an edge just fine. I plan to get a nicer strop about Christmas time.

I worried about stropping, but after going slow and making a couple of nicks, it's pretty straight forward now. Don't worry too much about it.
