Thanks Martin, it will be very cool if the razor is dated back to 1830-1860 that's around 155-185 years ago. Have you tried or seen similar one before ?

I am expecting this razor to arrive in the next few weeks from a friend in the US, it says J.Rose only.... I shall post more pics when it arrives, but maybe you can tell something out of these.
