The Nivea balms gave me a lot of "itchiness" on the face so I'm not sure if their suited to my skin. I opted against them.

Definitely use a balm as opposed to Skin Food, which is less protective/moisturising in the winter months.

I suggest Roger & Gallet L'Homme After Shave Balm, L'Oreal Men Expert 24hr Hydrating Balm...
