I have alternated between wiping and rinsing in hot water and I have come to the conclusion that I prefer rinsing in hot water!

I'm no expert in metalurgy but it occurs to me that if hot metal expands this would more likely result in a slightly duller blade, not sharper.
If I am wrong, please, show me the error of...
