Well, three business days have passed since I sent an email to SWK inquiring about an XL scuttle and I have yet to receive a reply.

My guess is their hiatus is on.

Well, to complicate matters for me, I just watched a video of a guy using the SWK XL scuttle on a pedestal sink very similar to mine.
He had no problems and handled it rather easily.

Boy, I'd really like one of those SWK scuttles.

The problem that I have is we just have a pedestal sink and no counter space.

Knowing me, something that big would quickly turn into an airborne...

It's pretty aggressive but doesn't feel like it will hurt a brush. I guess it all depends how hard you mash the brush into the bowl when you are making lather, what type of knot you are using and...

Used the Suribachi bowl for the first time this morning.

It is very solid and heavier than I thought it would be.
At 6" it is a little big, but easily handled.
The ridges are more aggressive...
