Looks like your PM option isn't active. Would the alumilite you used work well for scales by itself? Did it get pretty hard after curing or was it pretty soft after being cut down to scale thickness.

Anyone know a good place to buy alumilite/burl blanks that are at least 6"? The scales I want to copy are 6.25".
They don't have to be Shokwood, just looking for that type of material. If they can...
