Here's a Marshes and Shepard taper blade I'd picked up recently.

Got it on the tadoo...

Its on the heavy side of 6/8ths. after I removed the small chips frown, then imparted a slight smile back into the blade. So originally I'd say it was 13/16 or 7/8
