Great post. So based on that mine says & Fils and "Garanti' on the blade - is it safe to assume that the razor is from around 1913-1915?

Sent the Thiers-Issard out to gssixgun/Glen who took it apart and did various things to it - many of which I don't understand fully being more of a DE guy, but they were;
- Basic Clean...

Thanks, the L'Essor blew me away when I got it - it's in near mint condition and the way the blade is secured is just great.
Can't wait to try it out as it appears that a modern SE blade fits well -...
