Sounds like you have a killer coticule there. Congrats on the thuri. I always make a thin slurry on my thuris that i do a quick dilution on. I then finish on thin/trace slurry.

I just shaved with a thuri edge I didn't strop on Linen. And I must say that it was a little smoother especially against the grain. I guess I just never questioned it. Thanks a lot.

I have both and I don't use my thuris much. The thuri or escher if you will. is a little easier to finish on and edges off of it shaves a little closer. But to me the coticule is smoother.
