Hmmm...some interesting theories. Metal resting, one for each day of the week, marketing ploy, prestige, travel sets. Still, it seems odd to me...why not sets of 3 or 5 or 8? Pairs seem common...

I have noticed that razors are sometimes sold in sets of seven. One for each day of the week. Why sets of seven? Is there something wrong with using one SR every day?
