Well I still have not gotten conditioner. I may try the linen tonight. After washing and scrubbing the linen I just put it on flat surface and stuck a 12 pack of pop on it. Ended up with the waves.

Thank you sharptonn, I did not know that. Like I said I used one of those magic eraser things and got no black only brown color. Actually no scrubbing just wet and wipe then wipe with dry paper...

Really all I need now is conditioner I believe its as clean as its gonna get. Might buy saddle soap and try that. Trashed strop is a good idea ill keep my eye peeled. There was another in ok shape...

So far its going well. Used a magic eraser from 3m and it looks way better. Going slow to 're hydrate the leather. The hardware is pitted bit cleaned up well. Pretty stoked!
