I'd be willing to bet your M41 has a superior trigger to my MkIII. That is indeed the weak link in the Ruger Mk pistols. Many people have done just a trigger replacement with an aftermarket piece...

I'll bet the M41 is a lot easier to field strip than my 22/45 MkIII!!! Even when following the instructions and watching a YouTube video on the procedure, I never dropped as many F-bombs as I did...
