Yes I think I understand now what you are saying,I've done it on purpose with knife blades by clay backing the spine and that's the only way I was able to achieve it.

Lol well that is the inspiration for the name,The super cub Is the small work horse get it done Bush plane up here in my be neck of the woods.

No issues with the heat treating,no warps or twists.
