    Just a follow up.. The Hess is back in shaving...

    Just a follow up..

    The Hess is back in shaving rotation. I reset the bevel and sharpened the old mule yesterday.

    Not a bad shave.. Just a few nicks on the noggin.

    I was feeling pretty proud...

    Ok i misinterpreted that. I thought the steel wool process was an alternative process to sanding. I didn't pick up that you were telling me not to sand the blade.. my bad.

    I purchased a vintage from WD. I am very pleased with it.

    I noticed some markings which i'm wondering if there is a way to remove.

    In the first pic there appears to be some rust in a few spots....
