I took some pics of my ZY.
THe blade is heavy because of the thick spine.
I still feel with a proper hone and finish on a loaded strop, it will give reasonable shaves.

There is a bit of shake in my hand so I cut my self a bit.

I never got a good edge on the Gold dollar but that may have been my in experience with the hone.
I don't think I will try another gold dollar.

Since then I used a Norelco, not very satisfactory.
Then back to a DE razor and the multi blade disposables....

I just had my second shave with it. Even better than the first with some stropping.
THe ZY is well worth the $8 shipped from china.
I sort of considered one of Mastro Livis cheap production...

I can't say who did the work on it.
No papers with it.

I will continue with it and see how it goes.
Some of my old blades don't do as well.
I am sure the quality varies a lot.
