No don't do that!!! They'll probably explode. But my father used coke to clean off the positive terminal on his car battery. I guess it worked.

John if you put those batteries in a bottle of coke, it will take of the corrosion. Then put them back in the flashlight. You should try that and let me know if it works.....:idea:
