Then how do you set the bevel? What if the blade has been dulled by knocking into your faucet or sink? It would take pretty long to fix it on the 4000 side.

I know a lot of people have the Norton 4000/8000 but I think the 1000/8000 is better. It can set a bevel with the 1000 side and give you a shaving edge with the 8000 side. The 1K/8K and a finishing...
